Yes, and it is on the label rather than only in reports: indigestion appears among the common adverse reactions in Foundayo's FDA prescribing information, published 2026-08-13. What helps with indigestion on Foundayo?

1Smaller and earlier meals, which is the same lever as for the nausea because it is the same mechanism.
2Less fat, less alcohol, less coffee — each slows emptying further or relaxes the valve.
3Staying upright for a couple of hours after eating.
4Asking the prescriber before adding an acid reducer. These are common and reasonable, but this is a symptom the label expects, so it is worth saying out loud rather than self-treating indefinitely.

A tablet rather than an injection, and the same class effects: the route changes, the stomach does not. In the two trials 8% stopped because of side effects, against 3% on placebo, 5% of them because of gastrointestinal ones. Nausea, vomiting and diarrhea were more common during dose escalation and decreased over time. Above 5.5 mg every step is optional, taken on response and tolerability, so the pace is a conversation with the prescriber rather than a reason to quit unannounced.

The label carries the GLP-1 class boxed warning for thyroid C-cell tumors, and says why it applies here: GLP-1 receptor agonists that are pharmacologically active in rats and mice caused thyroid C-cell tumors at clinically relevant exposures. Orforglipron is not pharmacologically active in rats or mice and did not produce tumors in rodents; because it is active at the human GLP-1 receptor, the label says the human relevance of those rodent tumors has not been determined. It is contraindicated outright with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN 2.
