Wegovy coupons and savings cards
All 3 programs Novo Nordisk and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services publish for Wegovy, with the condition each one carries. Each is set against what Wegovy costs when no program applies.

Is there a coupon or savings card for Wegovy?
Wegovy has 3 published savings programs, including Wegovy first-fill price from Novo Nordisk at $199 a month for 0.25 mg and 0.5 mg. Without any of them Wegovy runs $349 a month at the maintenance dose, read from its own published page on 2026-09-22. That is the figure a program has to beat to be worth its conditions. 3 of them carry published conditions, the Wegovy first-fill price's among them: Two monthly fills only, and the offer itself closes on 31 December 2026. 2 have published end dates, the nearest 2026-12-31, after which any site still quoting it is quoting a price that no longer exists. A copay card is not a price. The manufacturer caps its own contribution, so the headline figure is reached only where insurance already covers most of the cost; with no coverage there is no copay for it to lower.

Wegovy first-fill price
Novo Nordisk$199 a month for 0.25 mg and 0.5 mg
- Who for
- New to the Wegovy savings offer or to NovoCare Pharmacy, paying cash
- The catch
- Two monthly fills only, and the offer itself closes on 31 December 2026. After either limit the price is $349.
- Ends
- 2026-12-31
Wegovy savings card
Novo NordiskAs little as $25 a month
- Who for
- Commercial insurance that covers Wegovy. Government beneficiaries excluded.
- The catch
- Savings are capped at $100 a month, so it only reaches $25 if your plan already covers most of the cost.
- Ends
- No published end date
Medicare GLP-1 Bridge
Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services$50 a month
- Who for
- Part D beneficiaries 18 or older whose prescriber submits a prior authorization attesting the drug treats obesity, and who have a BMI of 35 or higher, a BMI of 30 or higher with diastolic heart failure, uncontrolled hypertension or stage 3a chronic kidney disease, or a BMI of 27 or higher with prediabetes, a previous heart attack or stroke, or symptomatic peripheral artery disease. Not for anyone with type 2 diabetes, moderate-to-severe sleep apnea or fatty liver disease, or whose Part D plan already covers a GLP-1. Covers all formulations of Foundayo and Wegovy, and the KwikPen formulation of Zepbound only — not the single-dose Zepbound vials or pens.
- The catch
- The $50 does not count toward your Part D deductible or the out-of-pocket maximum, because the demonstration sits outside Part D coverage rather than inside it. It is also time-limited: a demonstration under Section 402 authority, not a benefit.
- Ends
- 2027-12-31
What Wegovy costs with no program
halfrx records $349 a month at the maintenance dose, read from its own published page on 2026-09-22. That is the figure a program has to beat to be worth the conditions attached to it.
A pharmacy acquires Wegovy for about $1,306 a month under the federal NADAC survey, effective 2026-09-23. Where a manufacturer's own cash price sits below that, the program is not a discount off the pharmacy channel — it is a different market with no intermediary to pay. The full acquisition-cost table sets every drug against what pharmacies pay.
An advertised monthly figure is not a year: the real first-year total walks the titration ladder at the published price of each step and counts the thirteen fills a 28-day month bills.
Why these programs exclude who they exclude
The copay card here is closed to Medicare, Medicaid and any federal program. That is not the maker's choice — it is statute, and these are the documents that say so.
- Social Security Act §1927(d)(2), Office of the Law Revision Counsel — The statute itself, listing “agents when used for anorexia, weight loss, or weight gain” among the drugs a program may exclude.
- Manufacturer safeguards may not prevent copayment coupon use for Part D drugs, HHS Office of Inspector General — Why a manufacturer copay card cannot be used with a federal program, from the office that enforces it.
- Weight-loss drugs, Medicare.gov — Medicare's own page on what it does and does not cover for weight loss.
How these programs work
- Is a Wegovy coupon the same as a lower price?
- No, and the difference is the whole point of this page. A copay card lowers what you pay at the counter only if your insurance is already covering most of the cost — the manufacturer caps its own contribution, so with no coverage there is no copay for it to lower. A self-pay price is a different instrument: it is the price with insurance out of the picture entirely.
- Can I use a Wegovy savings card with Medicare or Medicaid?
- No. Federal anti-kickback rules bar manufacturers from subsidizing copays for anyone in a federal health program, which is why the card here asks for commercial insurance. Medicare's own route for Wegovy is separate: the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge, run by Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, listed above with the forms it covers.
- What is the catch on the Wegovy programs?
- Wegovy first-fill price: Two monthly fills only, and the offer itself closes on 31 December 2026. After either limit the price is $349. Wegovy savings card: Savings are capped at $100 a month, so it only reaches $25 if your plan already covers most of the cost. Medicare GLP-1 Bridge: The $50 does not count toward your Part D deductible or the out-of-pocket maximum, because the demonstration sits outside Part D coverage rather than inside it. It is also time-limited: a demonstration under Section 402 authority, not a benefit.
