How to take Rybelsus
Taken once daily, in the morning, on an empty stomach. Everything below is quoted from the FDA label rather than summarised, because a dosing instruction restated twice stops being the label and the detail that goes missing is always the number. What this page adds to the label is the part the label has no reason to carry: what a mistake costs.
How do you take Rybelsus, and what does getting it wrong cost?
Take RYBELSUS or OZEMPIC tablets orally once daily on an empty stomach in the morning with water (up to 4 ounces of water); do not take with other liquids besides water. After taking RYBELSUS or OZEMPIC tablets, wait at least 30 minutes before eating food, drinking beverages or taking other oral medications. Store RYBELSUS and OZEMPIC tablets at 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F); excursions permitted to 15°C to 30°C (59°F to 86°F). Store and dispense in the original bottle. Store tablets in the original bottle until use to protect tablets from moisture. On a missed dose the label is specific rather than permissive, and the window is short — the exact wording is below.

Read from FDA prescribing information for RYBELSUS and OZEMPIC tablets on 2026-09-10. Labels are revised; the date is there so you can tell how old this reading is. Information only, not medical advice — dosing is a decision for the clinician who wrote the prescription.
No clinician has reviewed this page. Every clinical statement on it is drawn from the FDA label or the trial cited beside it, and every price carries the date it was verified — but that is sourcing, not medical review, and the two are not the same thing.
