Read from GoodRx's own program page on 13 September 2026: a $39 a month membership — "Medication cost not included" and "Cancel anytime" — and medication "As low as $149 /month", so $188 a month at the low end. The program page reads "$39/mo. to start your weight loss treatment". The page's tiles start the Wegovy pill and Foundayo at $149, the Wegovy pen at $199 and the Zepbound KwikPen at $299; what a maintenance dose costs is not printed there, so no upper figure is shown. The $388 held here until today added the $349 Wegovy pen price from a GoodRx page that could not be re-read.

What this page used to say

  • 2026-09-13 — GoodRx for Weight Loss's monthly price. Was: $188 to $388 a month. Now: From $188 a month: the $39 membership plus medication from $149.
  • 2026-09-11 — A con quoting a price the card no longer holds. Was: $388 all-in makes it one of the most expensive routes to branded Wegovy tracked here — Calibrate is $224 for the same drug. Now: $388 all-in is the $39 membership on top of a $349 fill — the same $349 Novo charges directly for Wegovy pens.
  • 2026-09-11 — A drawback that no longer stood, withdrawn. Was: The headline $39/mo was an introductory rate that expired on 1 February 2026; the standard subscription is $119/mo. If you saw $39 in an ad, it is stale.
  • 2026-09-11 — A point in its favor that no longer stood. Was: Negotiated cash price of $199/mo for Ozempic and Wegovy pens directly with Novo Nordisk — a manufacturer deal, not a coupon. Now: Wegovy pens at $199 for the first two fills and $349 after, through GoodRx's agreement with Novo Nordisk — a manufacturer price rather than a coupon, with the $199 running to 31 December 2026.
  • 2026-09-09 — A membership price the page contradicted three lines further down. Was: $388 all-in. The intro price was $39/mo — it became $119/mo on 1 February 2026. Now: $388 all-in: a $39 membership plus $349 for the medication. GoodRx publishes both halves and never adds them.
  • 2026-09-04 — Rebuilt the figure from the two prices GoodRx publishes. Was: $388 a month, from a third-party report dated 10 June 2026. Now: $188 to $388, added by halfrx from GoodRx's own $39 membership and its own $149 to $349 medication prices.

How this monthly figure is built

$39membership — their pricing page

GoodRx for Weight Loss does not publish this total. Its own page quotes the membership only — medication is billed separately, so we add the two and show both sources.

What does GoodRx for Weight Loss actually charge?

halfrx records GoodRx for Weight Loss at $188 a month all-in, added by halfrx on 2026-09-13 from the membership fee and the medication price it publishes separately. What it costs once titrated is not published, which is a fact about the seller rather than a gap in the data. It runs month to month. No FTC action, state action, BBB F grade or FDA warning letter is recorded against it. It scores 7.4 out of 10 on a published formula that is arithmetic over the facts on this page, not an editor's opinion. It is cash only: no insurance is billed, so the figure above is the whole of it. The medication is the branded, FDA-approved product rather than a compounded copy. The program includes clinical care and dispensing rather than a prescription alone. The page rests on 3 cited sources, at least one of them a manufacturer, regulator or journal. Molecules: semaglutide, tirzepatide.

What is good about GoodRx for Weight Loss?

  • +Wegovy pens at $199 for the first two fills and $349 after, through GoodRx's agreement with Novo Nordisk — a manufacturer price rather than a coupon, with the $199 running to 31 December 2026.[1]
  • +Flexible fulfillment: in-store pickup at nearly all US retail pharmacies for Wegovy or Zepbound pens, or home delivery of Zepbound vials via LillyDirect.[1]
  • +Explicitly refuses to sell compounded GLP-1s — brand-name only, so no supply interruption from an FDA or manufacturer action.[1]
  • +Month-to-month.[1]

What are the downsides of GoodRx for Weight Loss?

  • −The $39 a month membership comes on top of the medication; Wegovy pens bought direct from NovoCare, $349 after the first two fills, carry no membership fee.
  • −GoodRx is now a competitor to the programs it also lists, so its own comparison content cannot be treated as neutral.[2]

How this score is built

  • 0.0/2.5Cost — publishes titration pricing only — what you pay once titrated is not published, so no points

  • 1.0/1What they supply — strongest molecule offered: semaglutide, tirzepatide
  • 0.8/1Commitment — month-to-month
  • 1.0/1Care around the prescription — coaching, titration support and insurance help included
  • 2.0/2Conduct — no penalties on file
