Read from Sesame's weight-loss page on 5 September 2026 and unchanged since 21 August: "$59 /mo* for care" plus "medication from $149/mo (paid separately)", where the asterisk on the care half reads "Based on a 12-month Success by Sesame commitment". $208 is halfrx adding the two, because Sesame does not publish a combined figure. The medication half is a range rather than a number — the same page lists the Wegovy pill, the Wegovy pen and Foundayo from $149 a month, the Zepbound vial and KwikPen from $299, and the Zepbound pen from $1,086 — and Sesame's own footnote says medication pricing "may vary based on treatment, dose, pharmacy, and provider determination". It is a marketplace, so the care half varies with the clinician you pick.
What this page used to say
- 2026-09-11 — A con quoting a price the card no longer holds. Was: $398+ estimated — among the highest tracked, and the marketplace structure means no single published price to hold them to. Now: $208 is halfrx adding Sesame's $59 care fee to medication from $149 — Sesame publishes no combined figure, and the $59 assumes a 12-month commitment.
- 2026-09-11 — A drawback that no longer stood, withdrawn. Was: Cash only.
- 2026-09-11 — A point in its favor that no longer stood, withdrawn. Was: No long-term contract.
- 2026-09-11 — Sesame's commitment and insurance terms. Was: Month-to-month, cash only. Now: The $59 care price assumes a 12-month commitment, and insurance is accepted for weight-loss medications.
How this monthly figure is built
Sesame Care does not publish this total. Its own page quotes the membership only — medication is billed separately, so we add the two and show both sources.
What does Sesame Care actually charge?
halfrx records Sesame Care at $208 a month all-in, an estimate made on 2026-09-13, because the seller publishes no single all-in figure of its own. What it costs once titrated is not published, which is a fact about the seller rather than a gap in the data. It commits you for 12 months. No FTC action, state action, BBB F grade or FDA warning letter is recorded against it. It scores 5.9 out of 10 on a published formula that is arithmetic over the facts on this page, not an editor's opinion. Insurance is optional here, so the cash figure and the covered figure are different questions. The medication is the branded, FDA-approved product rather than a compounded copy. It supplies the prescription; sourcing the medication is left to you. The page rests on 2 cited sources, at least one of them a manufacturer, regulator or journal. Molecule: semaglutide.

No clinician has reviewed this page. Label and trial statements are quoted from the FDA label or the trial cited beside them.
