LifeMD's weight-management page, read 13 September 2026, prices the weight-loss program at $39 for the first month and "just $149 a month thereafter", cancel anytime, and says "Medication cost is not included". Wegovy is billed separately at Novo's $349 self-pay, so the monthly figure after the first month is $498. NovoCare's Wegovy page reads "then $349 per month for Wegovy® 0.25 mg, 0.5 mg, 1 mg, 1.7 mg, or 2.4 mg". The $19 held here until today is LifeMD+, the general membership, not the weight-loss program. LifeMD's membership page also lists weight-management care "Starting at $75/month" without saying on what plan.

What this page used to say

  • 2026-09-13 — LifeMD's monthly price. Was: $368 a month: a $19 membership plus Novo's $349 for Wegovy. Now: $498 a month after the first: LifeMD's $149 weight-loss program fee plus Novo's $349 for Wegovy.
  • 2026-09-11 — A con quoting a price the card no longer holds. Was: $448+ ties Hims for the highest price tracked — you are paying for the PA team whether or not your plan would ever cover it. Now: $368 a month once Novo's $349 is added to the $19 membership — you pay for the PA team's work whether or not your plan ever covers the drug.
  • 2026-09-11 — A drawback that no longer stood, withdrawn. Was: Dose-scaled on top of that base.
  • 2026-09-10 — The summary line quoted a price this page does not show. Was: Strong prior-authorization team attached to a top-of-market $448 cash price. Now: A prior-authorization team worth having, attached to a $368 month: $19 of membership plus Novo's $349.

What does LifeMD actually charge?

halfrx records LifeMD at $498 a month all-in, added by halfrx on 2026-09-13 from the membership fee and the medication price it publishes separately. The figure that matters is $498 once titrated, because the starting dose is not the dose anyone stays on, and that is the number this site scores. It runs month to month. No FTC action, state action, BBB F grade or FDA warning letter is recorded against it. It scores 8.0 out of 10 on a published formula that is arithmetic over the facts on this page, not an editor's opinion. The cheapest verified maintenance price on the site is $75, so this sits above the floor rather than at it. Insurance is optional here, so the cash figure and the covered figure are different questions. The medication is the branded, FDA-approved product rather than a compounded copy. The program includes clinical care and dispensing rather than a prescription alone. Molecule: semaglutide.

What are the downsides of LifeMD?

  • −$498 a month once Novo's $349 is added to the $149 program fee — you pay for the PA team's work whether or not your plan ever covers the drug.[1]
  • −If your insurance denies, the value proposition collapses to an ordinary expensive cash program.[1]
